Tracie L. Mallory was born in Albany, NY on January 18, 1977, and peacefully transitioned into eternal rest on June 15, 2025, surrounded by family and loved ones as she received her heavenly wings.
Tracie was a woman of many gifts and passions. Most recently employed at Marwa Beauty Supply, she was known for her strong work ethic and her ability to light up any room she entered. She had a great love for carpentry and construction, a talent she pursued with pride. Tracie also expressed herself through fashion and makeup, and she had a deep, abiding love for animals. She brought creativity and care to everything she did.
She received her education at Rensselaer High School and went on to attend EOC, where she proudly earned her Building Maintenance Certification.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Johnie B. Mallory and Mary Louise Gilmore-Mallory.
Tracie leaves to cherish her memory her beloved sons, DaQuan McCall and Jaziah Mallory; as well as her siblings: Vivian Hawkins (Dazzle), Renee Gilmore-Copeland, Jonathan Mallory, Tesha Mallory, and Jermain Mallory.
She also leaves behind many nieces and nephews: Stephanie Stallings, B’jon Gilmore, Kara Stallings, Crystal Stallings, Devaughn Mallory, Terrance Mallory, Harmony Mallory, Destiny Mallory, Messiah Mallory, Elijah Mallory, Adrian Mallory, and Karma Mallory; great-nieces and nephews Angel Biddings and Lorenzo Pena; a host of aunts and uncles; and a special friend, Stephanie Dewitt, who held a meaningful place in her heart.
Tracie’s life was a testament to love, resilience, and authenticity. She will be deeply missed, yet forever remembered.
