Tina Marie Antoinetta Beck (Hughes)
Tina came into this life on January 18th, 1962 in Albany, NY to George and Dessie Mae Hughes. She departed from us on December 25th, 2025. Tina was the youngest of 6 children.
Tina attended schools in the Albany City School district including Hackett Middle School and graduated from high school. She then continued her education in the vocational fields of Culinary Arts and Cosmotology.
Tina was employed at Memorial Hospital in Albany in the Food Service Department and Home Health Aide Services.
After moving to Chicago, IL to spend more time with her large extended family, Tina met and married her husband Clyde T. Beck.
Clyde and Tina both had ties to Mississippi through their families. Together they had three beautiful children. Donte, April and Rashaun.
Clyde and Tina have seven grandchildren. Cameron Clyde Beck, Kasai Micheal Beck, Nyrie April Beck, Gizzelle Marie Rivers, Taylor Damera Super Nova, and Azura Lyra Super Nova.
Tina is predeceased in death by her husband Clyde and her parents, George and Dessie Mae. She was also predeceased by her siblings Carolyn LaVeau, Georgie Mae Hughes, Brenda Robinson, George W. Hughes and her nephew Jemerle Hughes.
She leaves to mourn her sister, Rosalyn Hughes, her dear aunt Minnie Walley of Fort. Lauderdale, FL. and her uncle Sammy of Schenectady, NY.
Tina leaves behind her nephews, George, Tyrell, Anthony, Walter, Jeffrey, Jacques and her nieces Demetrius, Danyelle, Benita, Jema, great nieces, and nephews.She also leaves behind numerous extended family relatives, specifically the Jordan, Walley and Alexander families, friends and loved ones in New York state, Chicago IL and the Southern states as well.
She will be remembered for her generous nature, ability to laugh, and being the life of the party. As well, her caring and thoughtful nature will be sorely missed.
Tina was well known for her cooking, especially her collard greens and water cornbread. Her love of music especially, the "oldies," and dance was also well known.
She loved spending time with her children, grandchildren and loved ones. Tina also enjoyed attending and hosting family gatherings.
