Reflection of life:
Theresa Marie “Reese” Dean-Davis was born on June 29, 1971 in the city of Albany, state of New York, where she lived all her life. She was the daughter of Brenda and Arthur Threatt “RED” (step-father); Paternal daughter of “Thomas Dean”. In her early childhood, she attended Albany public schools. She made her trademark working in the healthcare field as a CNA for several years. Reese always knew that being a mom wasn’t an easy task, and that she wasn’t perfect, but she always made sure to be the best mother that she could be. She loved music, family engagements, enjoyed helping others and spending quality time with her children, grandchildren, family, and friends. She also had an incredible passion for cooking “massive meals” that could feed an entire neighborhood.
Reese was called home on February 4, 2021. She will be remembered for the love that she had for her family.
Reese is predeceased by her nephew Ayvontasjaie Turner (Vonnie). She is survived by her husband Horace Davis of 20 years, her mother Brenda Williams and step father Arthur Threatt “RED”, her paternal father Thomas Dean, her siblings Stephanie Williams (Tracy), Marko Threatt (Muslima), Thomas Dean Jr and Yolanda Dean; Her children Lanhaire Johnson (Bianca), Lahmear Johnson (Vanessa), Daquan Johnson, Sahreena Johnson (Rahjahmire Cole) and Vondasia Davis. Her step-children Shamear, Jahjuan, Quavon and Kahlelah. She also survived by her 8 grandchildren Courtney Johnson, Lahmear Johnson Jr, Daphne Johnson, King Johnson, Nevaeh Cole, Ah’mell Johnson, Emelah Johnson, Ah’ myes Johnson and one unborn grandchild expected August 2021. Furthermore her nieces Shinicqua, Anashta, Shy-quasia, Ahjhanae, Shamiya, Alaisha , Melayah, Sky, her nephews Marquan, Jacqua, Kaleaf, Marko Jr, Ayvon, and her 10 great nieces , 10 great nephews , her 9 step grandchildren and a host of aunts, uncles, Cousins, God daughter and dear friends.
