Susan Harrell

Susan Richardson Harrell, known to family as "Squenk" was born April 28th, 1946 in Greeleyville SC. She moved to Troy NY when she was a little girl. She was the daughter to the late Rose Richardson Dorn and Thomas Richardson, and Step daughter to the late Willie Dorn. Also preceded in death by a special an close aunt Florene Toles. She passed peacefully on October 7th, 2025 surrounded by her loving family.

Susan was preceded in death by her son's Thomas Harrell an Darrick Harrell. She leaves to morn, her daughter Sonja McCann, Grandchildren Sahasza Williams, Carphonso Armstrong, and Uziah Armstrong and a great granddaughter Naiomi Kirkley. 

Preceded in death by her brothers Willam "Sonny" Richardson, an Roscoe (Louise) Richardson, survived  by

sister Debra Richardson, also by nieces Joann Richardson, Felicia Richardson, nephews Anthony Richardson, William (Tracey) Richardson, Rodney Dukes, Jermaine Richardson, and a host of great nieces an nephews.

Susan was great humanitarian always helping, giving, an giving of herself unselfishly to others. She help many people in her neighborhood weather it was feeding them, clothing them, or just giving them conversation and love. She was just a giver by nature.

Throughout her life she worked as a health  caregiver, and also as a customer service associate. 

Services will be held at Oakgrove Missionary Baptist Church, 514 Seventh Ave, Troy, NY 12180
