Sheldon Omar Wells, beloved son (43) of Albany, New York, entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, November 19, 2025.

Sheldon was born on October 27, 1982 to Vernon Lee Horace and Tammi Terrell Wells in Monticello, New York.

He moved to Albany NY at the age of 6, but in his heart  Monticello was always home.

He is predeceased by his  grandfather Warren Wells, his Great-Grandparents Leroy and Lucille Williams, His paternal Grandfather Samuel Lee Horace Sr,  Uncles Bobby Wells, Maurice and Savage Horace,  one Aunt Machelle Horace, and two cousins Allah Wells and Jesus Pena Robles Jr, whom he loved like brothers

Sheldon was a gentle giant with a heart of gold. His personality, manners and wit captivated everyone he met him. If you knew him, you knew his family  was everything to him and the two most important people in his life was his Mother and his  Grandmother.

His love for family and it's importance was evident in the special bond and relationship he shared with his grandmother Catherine Wells, the unbreakable  bond and love between him and  his mother Tammi Wells, his only biological brother Josiah Wells who lovingly called him "bubba" and his cousin/brother Ralph 'RJ' Bicham Jr.

Sheldon leaves to cherish his memory, his devoted mother,  Tammi Wells, his father Vernon Horace, his only  brother Josiah Wells, grandmother Catherine Wells, his paternal grandmother  Mable Cleveland Horace,

Three uncles: James Lorenzo Bradley, of Texas, Samuel Lee Horace Jr., of Monticello, NY, and Ralph Bickham Sr, of Maryland

Two Aunts: Lisa Crawford, and Antoinette Amanda Wells, of  Maryland, 

Two bonus Aunts; Connie Lee, NC, and Celyon Moore, of Albany

Three nephews: E'Jean Xiare Wells,  King Josiah Wells, and My'lijae Jackson all of Albany NY. One niece: Destiny Terrell Wells, of Albany, NY

Eleven Cousins: Ralph 'RJ' Bickham, Antoine Bickham, both of Maryland, Jalyssa and Janay Bradley,

Monique Robles, Christina and  Alecia Pena, Danielle Marshall, Owen Horace, Brandon Crawford, Anthony Cruz.

God-parents: Allan and Geraldine Rose Brandon, Paul and Marva Parsons, and Margarite McKinley.

God-sisters: Laé-Lee Allen, and Marveya Parson

Brothers: Paul Parsons Jr,  Jeremiah Parsons, and Jason Boyd.
