Naghira K Walker

Naghira K. Walker, 22, departed her earthly home on Saturday, May 22,2023 transitioning to her heavenly home in glory to be with the lord. She was born on July 23,1999  in Albany, NY to the late Betina Harris and Ishmael Walker.

Naghira was educated in the Albany Public School system. She received awards for her accomplishments in soccer and track. She was a member of the brownies and Girl Scouts. She was active in Sunday School and church.

She was passionate about cooking, often spending hours scrapbooking, singing, or painting. 

Above all, Naghira was a kind, loving person who brought joy to those around her. She will be deeply missed by her family and friends.

Naghira K. Walker is preceded in death by her mother Betina S. Harris. She is survived by Her two young kids Ny’Arie Maxwell and Naz Maxwell of Albany, NY. Her two brothers Isaiah Johnson, and Alon Harris of Albany,Ny.. Her Grandmother who raised her Edith Johnson of Albany, Ny and a host of Aunts, Uncles and cousins who deeply loved her.

A service will be held on Monday May 1, 2023 with  a viewing being held from 10:00am to 11:00 am with the service to follow from 11:00am to 1:00pm at City Harvest Family Church on 585 Central Ave Albany, Ny 12206 to honor and remember Naghira K. Walker’s life.
