Michelle V. Andral

Michelle Vanessa Andral, 58, of Albany, New York, was called

home to be with the Lord, Saturday, June 27, 2026, in the

comfort of St. Peter’s Hospital.

Born on August 27, 1967, in Georgetown, Guyana, Michelle

was the beloved daughter of Jerome and Olinda Sifontes.

Michelle dedicated her life to serving others as a health care

provider with local private agencies. Reflecting her

commitment to lifelong learning in education, she earned

her Bachelor’s degree in Africana Studies from the

University at Albany. She also worked as a teacher’s

assistant as well administrative assistant with the Brighter

Choice & New Covenant Charter School systems.

A devoted woman of faith, Michelle found great joy in

attending Open Ministries, participating in Bible studies,

and serving in prison ministry. She also cherished spending

time with her family, exploring nature, and traveling.

Michelle battled stage 4 lung cancer for 8 months. Despite

her being sick she continued to work, take care of the

elderly, her family and even donating to others, until her

last days.

Michelle will be remembered for her generous spirit,

unwavering faith, her smile, kindness, strength, her selfless

love that touched the lives of everyone that knew her and

more importantly, for being the backbone of the Sifontes

family.

Michelle is survived by her loving husband, Love Andral; her

children, Justin Andral and Alexandria Sifontes; her

cherished grandchildren, Renee Lawrence, Aaliyah Sifontes,

Damian’Kash Robinson, and Zarah Golding; her siblings,

Sandra, Rufino, Jerome, Andrew, Mervyn Sifontes, and

Maria (Stuart) Young, Vladimir Andral; as well as a host of nieces,

nephews, extended family members, and dear friends who loved

and cared for her deeply.

She was preceded in death by her father, Jerome Sifontes,

and her granddaughter, Olivia Lawrence.
