Michael Todd Moore
Michael Todd Moore, 58, of Albany, NY entered eternal rest with his heavenly father on Saturday, March 9, 2024.
He was born on May 5, 1965, in Harlem, NY to Nora Tucker Moore and Willie Council. He was always very proud of his up-north roots and his family. Being the eldest brother, he carried the role well, having a soft spot for his siblings.
In the early years of his life, he made his way to North Carolina, where he spent many years. He quickly gained popularity for his big personality and being an overall people person who never met a stranger. Many in the small town of Washington, NC (Little Washington) would refer to him as “Boom” or “Big Todd from Wodd” and that still stands true today.
He was the loving father of two children, Michael Cobb (34) and Brittany Cobb (32) of Washington, NC. He loved his children more than anything. They express that having him as a father was a beautiful experience that has left them with endless memories to cherish.
He later returned to New York in the mid 2000’s for a fresh start in a familiar state. There his family and his heart grew even bigger after meeting his loving partner: Naomi Pitts, her family, and his new church family. They shared a special journey of about two decades.
He is survived by his children: Michael and Brittany, his partner Naomi, as well as his siblings: Cynthia, Delores, Nicie, Deborah, David, and Marc, He is also survived by his lifelong friend Melissa, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and other friends whose love made them family. He is predeceased by his parents, Nora and Willie, sister Patricia and many other family and friends who met him on the other side.
“To live in the hearts of those we leave behind, is not to die.”
