Mary Smith

Mary Alice Smith entered eternal rest on Monday, December 5, 2022, surround by family and friends.

Mary migrated with her family from Waynesboro, Mississippi to Albany, New York in 1963.   She held several jobs and was employed by Albany Medical Center for over 40 years.  She was the mother of the church for 30 years.  She loved her church home and family.

She leaves to cherish her memory sons Curtis J. Smith of Albany, NY, and Joseph Bell; daughters-in-law Anesticia Permaul and Mary Pressley-Smith, both of Albany, NY and Pamela Weaver of Schnectady, NY; brother John Hall of Miami, FL; sisters Millie (Oliver) Leggett of Waynesboro, MS, and Ethel Lee Hall of Albany, NY; grandsons Jemar Smith of Albany, NY, Morgan (Shalea) Smith of Troy, NY, and Elijah Smith of Dallas, TX; granddaughter Shelby Smith of Raleigh, NC; great-grandsons Jahmair, Jaylen, Justice, & Aiden Smith; and her dear friend Mary Ann Hines of Albany, NY.  She is also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
