Laura Teasley was born in Albany, New York to the late Floyd Teasley and Jotia Teasley . Laura passed peacefully from this life on earth August 3, 2023 after a gradual decline in health from Albany Medical Center. She was surrounded and supported by her loved ones during her last days of her life.
Laura was a loving Aunt and devoted to her cats. Her smile would light up a room and her silly energy was contagious. She was 4’11, but packed with a punch. She put the S in spunky. Laura enjoyed going to the bingo halls, going to the horse tracks in Saratoga, wearing beautiful hats for all seasons, and shopping. She was stylish and fashionable, what we would now call a “fashionista”. Laura was a very intelligent woman, intuitive and had no problem voicing her opinion.
Laura wore many hats, she was a wife, an amazing nurse, and a care giver.
Laura was the last standing out of her six siblings. Brother Floyd Teasley Jr, brother Boyd Teasley, sister Essie Teasley, sister OlaTeasley, sister Rosemary, (LaMarche), Teasley, and brother Clarence Teasley. Laura leaves to cherish a host of nieces and nephews, great great nieces and nephews, and her special friend Mr. Cooper.
