Lance L. Jackson

Lance Leonard Jackson was born in Bay Shore, NY to the late Leonard A. Jackson and Margaret A. Jackson on December 27, 1958. Lance attended Bay Shore Schools. In High School, he played Basketball, Football, Track & Field and Cross Country. He was part of the best Cross Country team that Bay Shore ever had. He won State Champion in the 800 meter relay, which held the school record and Suffolk County record for indoors. Lance was All League, All County and All State. 

After High School he attended college and then worked for General Electric in Schenectady, NY. Lance enjoyed watching sports and westerns. He liked to take daily walks and workout. He had just started being a motivational speaker to stroke victims.

Lance is predeceased by his parents and sister Sherri. He leaves to cherish his memory: his son Lance Jr. of Albany, NY; sisters Karen of Middle Island, NY, Vicki of Lakeland, FL, Rochelle of Bay Shore, NY and Danielle of Greensboro, NC and brother Andre of Florence, SC. Also, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, and friends. A sincere thanks to friend Waverly who was always there for Lance.
