Departing suddenly on May 8, 2023, Kobe Wayne Armstrong was born to Koshawa and Brendan Armstrong.
Kobe was raised in Albany, New York and was educated within the Albany City School district, was to graduate in June of 2024. Kobe spent most of his time with his brothers and sister, laughing, making jokes and listening to music. Kobe was an amazing, loving brother, uncle and son. Kobe protected his family and was very protective of his mom, "Earth," as he would call me, often telling me what he wanted me to do (LOL).
Although small in appearance, Kobe's ora was big and he was a big deal. He was so kind, very generous and loved taking care of others. Kobe had a love for music, as he was always writing and rhyming, but his passion was basketball!! Kobe ran track, loved bowling and even played soccer, but eventually he was just too big to play well or at least he thought so (LOL)! "50 Poops" was his first stage name in my living room when he was about 8 years old. Kobe was born with talent and a heart of gold, and he loved his family and friends. He had so much respect for others. He was very affectionate and always encouraging to others. Kobe was definitely one of a kind. Simply amazing!!!
Kobe was predeceased by his uncle Brian Jenkins, paternal grandparents, Ethelbert (Boysie) and Eugenia Armstrong; great aunts, Annette Bellamy and Georgette Bellamy-Batts.
Kobe is survived by his father and mother, Brendan and Koshawa, siblings, Brendan, Ir., Bashari, and Kashiva, nephews, Brendan, Ill and Braylen, maternal grandparents, Martha Tucker and Kevin Colman, paternal grandparent, Jennifer Armstrong; aunts, Zulema, Shivunda, Ashleu, Ovisha, Niesha, Tiara. Ivanna: uncles. Ethelbert. Kwame. lamel, Jameir. Shalal, Galal Le|uan, Rajiem and Rodnev: special friends, Tulasha and Tvkiem Maeweather, as well as host of relatives and friends.
Humbly submitted on behalf of the family with love, Mom
And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes: and there shall he no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.
(Revelation 21•4)
