Katherine Graham

Katherine Grimes Graham daughter of the late John and Eva Grimes was born in Chatham, NY on October 10, 1926. The loving spirit ushered Katherine to receive her just reward on Monday, May 2, 2022. Katherine was a member of the Union Missionary Baptist Church since 1962 serving as an usher welcoming visitors, members and friends with warmth and dignity for fifty years. Katherine was also a 50-year member of the Loyal Temple #148 I.B.P.O.E. Katherine was a mother of three girls: the late Pamela E. Cromartie and Thelma K. Peters and survived by daughter Carmella Sydnor. Katherine also has six loving grandchildren: the late Tabulla Harris and survived by Nia Cromartie, Falita Tanner Friday, Reuben Tanner Jr., Estralita Cromartie Collesides, Takia Sydnor, and a host of great-grandchildren, cousins, nieces, and nephews. Funeral services for Katherine will be held at Union Missionary Baptist Church, 3 Morton Ave on Thursday, May 12th at 12 noon; Viewing begins 11:00 am.
