Justin Gilmore Sr. departed this life suddenly on Sunday January 24th, 2021 in his hometown of East Greenbush NY. Justin was the 5th born of 6 siblings, to the late Earlie Gilmore Sr., and Betty A. Gilmore. Justin graduated from Columbia High School in 1996. His educational pursuits further included Schenectady Community College, majoring in music. In addition, Justin was also an active participant in the “S.T.O.P” Program. The curriculum included a study of Martin Luther King Jr.’s “non-violence practices” with the ART of sound by way of African Drums.
Justin’s early working career began as an employee at Nathan’s, SEFCU bank, the Center for Disabilities, and Hawthorne Ridge Assistance Living. His career ended with a very widespread and progressive position with Fed-Ex, where Justin was well known and respected. He was featured in the companies commercial that was shown world-wide. Justin Sr. was recognized as a Spiritual Pioneer and “Grandfather of the Sound”. Resonating as the “Theme of Call To Pray Ministries Int’l”. Justin orchestrated many Kingdom Sounds including the “Key of David” AKA K.O.D with his mother Apostle Betty A. Gilmore. Justin and his mother frequently traveled in the spirit realm as well as the natural to release these God given sounds through music. In 2002, this took his gift all the way to the continent of Africa, specifically Kenya East Africa. Justin and his mother and their time in Kenya, are still talked about to this day.
Justin was ordained in the Church as an Elder in the year of 2007. He was also an executive board member of Call To Pray Ministries Int’l. As his ministry work continued, he was appointed as Youth Pastor of World Harvest Family Worship Center. He formed life long bonds with the young and old everywhere he went. He’s Spiritual journey also included being an astute professor at teaching at the Institute of Kingdom Training, USA/ Kenya. All around from his spiritual life and personal life Justin was a people person, always known for his captivating smile and laugh. He loved basketball, the New York Giants NFL team, and cooking. Justin was famous for hosting BBQ’s and how much he loved to serve and entertain. His most recent successful entrepreneurship was the creation of his namesake “JUST-N -CASE SAUCE”, moving rapidly all over the USA (If You Know, You Know!).
In 2003 Justin married his wife Moniqua Gilmore. God blessed their union with three beautiful children.
Justin leaves to mourn his wife Moniqua Gilmore. His daughter Jah-Niqua. His two sons Justin II, and Jeremiah. His loving Mother Betty A. Gilmore, four sisters; Melanie Styles (Mose), Shantell Gilmore, Jacobia Yates (David) and Bettina Gilmore. With a host of nieces, nephews, godchildren and extended family.
