In the Early 80’s she met and married the love of her life who remained close until her untimely death. Josie brought love, happiness and passion wherever she was, making sure she created laughter no matter the circumstances. She had a special bond with her Son-in-Law Justice Alexander. He served as her caregiver and friend.  Josies life may have had some challenges and hard times but she always rose to the top. Her biggest accomplishments were being a support to others in her community, and her legacy. She leaves behind her loving Ex-Husband and friend, her strong first born daughter Valrie and Tony (Justice) Alexander  and grandchildren Marcia Ellis, Ivyanna Jenkins, Brooklyn Alexander, Tanari Alexander, Justice Alexander, and two step grand- children Tony and Aliza Alexander. Josies life can be summed up into one word STRENGTH! No matter what came her way she still Pushed Through. They say that God gives the toughest battles to his strongest soldiers. Regardless of what it looked like she always went through with laughter and come out on top.
