John Kemp Jr., affectionately known as "Bonkers Bagg," was born on September 3, 1999 in Schenectady, NY. He was the only child to his loving mother, Latesha Williams and oldest of two to his father John Kemp Sr. He passed away two days short of his 25th birthday on September 1, 2024.
A cherished member of the Schenectady community, John was a beacon of warmth, known for his humor and infectious smile. He had a generous heart and went to great lengths to help those around him.
John graduated from Schenectady High School and pursued further education at Schenectady Community College. He was employed by the Golub Corporation as a forklift operator and had a great passion for basketball and loved collecting Jordan sneakers. John's vibrant spirit, kindness, and ever-present smile touched the lives of everyone he met.
He is mourned by his precious daughter, Meilani Malacek, beloved Mother Latesha Williams, Father John Kemp Sr., Grandmothers, Linda Morris and Cynthia James; grandfather Gary Williams; Aunt/Godmother, Wanda Morris; his beloved Godsisters, Sontoya and Kenya Moore, and a host of great aunts, great uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends, both near and far whom he adored deeply.
