Grady Ingram Jr., affectionately known as “G-Man G”, was born on December 12, 1950, in Ellerbe, North Carolina; to the late Mary Stanback-Ingram and Grady Ingram Sr..
Grady relocated to Albany, New York in the early 1980s. With his progression in Albany, he graduated from Hudson Valley Community College, as well as was a part of plenty of organizations at The University of Albany, such as the photography club. Grady worked for the New York State Office of General Service for thirty years and retired to enjoy some of his favorite activities, such as visiting and spending time with family and friends; and taking care of his vehicle collection which was his bonding activity with his dad when he was in his youth.
Grady was pillar within his community and family. With his walk and unspoken personality, he naturally captured the attention of others with his wit and spunk. You would casually catch him speaking about his love for cars, his next vacation, his annual racetrack outings, as well as his love for his family.
Grady is preceded in death by his parents Mary Stanback and Grady Ingram Sr, his siblings Georgia Pickens and Booker T Ingram, his daughter Regan A Green. Grady is survived by his wife Donna Cockfield, his children Helena, Jemel, Josh, and Zackary, his siblings Kathleen Nicholson of Pittsfield, MA, Johnsie Ingram of Rockingham, NC, Gracie Washington of Houston, TX and Glady McCormick of Mt Gilead, North Carolina; his grandson Cannon. As well as a host of nieces and nephews. A visitation will be held on Thursday, December 8, 2022; from 10am-11am with a service from 11pm-12pm at Shannon McLaughlin Funeral Home.
