Ernestine (Williams) Venable passed away surrounded by her family on June 3, 2023. Born on June 20, 1942 to the late David and Lillie Mae Williams.
Ernestine was educated in the Albany Public School System. She worked at Sterling Winthrop in Rensselaer for 20 years. Ernestine was the devoted wife of James Venable for over 25 years. From their union came their daughter, Beverly.
Ernestine enjoyed spending time with her entire family. She enjoyed fishing, participating and watching drag racing. You could find her heading to Lebanon Valley Speedway in her black and blue Chevelle. Ernestine also enjoyed bingo and casinos often going with her siblings.
Ernestine is survived by her daughter, Beverly (Ron) Venable of Loudonville, NY; grandchildren Erin and RJ Parker of Albany, NY; great granddaughter Catalina Parker; siblings Annette Jackson, of Loudonville, NY, Tushela Thompson (Jesse) of Rensselaer, Lee Otis Williams, of Albany, NY, and Danny Williams of Colonie, NY; best friend Frankie Thomas; furbaby Jacket; as well as a host of nieces, nephews, in-laws, relatives, and friends.
In addition to her parents Ernestine was predeceased by her siblings Loretta Gaddy, Rita (Irving) Randolph, David Williams, Jr., Gary Williams and in-laws.
