Eric D. McGraw, Jr.

Eric D McGraw was called home on June 17th, 2022. He lived a short life, passing away at the age of 36. Eric, also known as Little Eric was born in Washington DC on July 7th 1985 to parents Karen R DeLilly and Eric Sr. McGraw. Although he was from Washington DC, he lived the remainder of his life in Albany NY, where he was raised. He was a loving father to his only child, Shyera McGraw. He shared his daughter with Shaquoia Brooks, the mother of his child. Eric was also survived by his four siblings: Erica Jordan (McGraw), Melvin DeLilly (Danielle Delilly), Quandasia DeLilly, and his late youngest brother, Jessie Overton (2014). His love for his 14 nieces and nephews was like no other. Jaylynn, shevayah, Legendary, Jessie, Amarri-Lynn, IsaBella, Isaiah, Kyre, Melquan, Carmella, JaeSaun, Gabriella, Carmello & QuanZae will miss their uncle dearly. His aunts and uncles were also apart of raising Eric: Melvin (Ishmel), April, Sharron, Chris, Geraldine, & Jill. Lastly, was also survived by his favorite cousin’s Wykiem Anderson and Christopher Barry also his god mother Rachelle Lawrence. Also survived by a host of cousins and friends. 

Eric was very intellectual, with a genuine and giving personality. He also shared a love and passion for his animals, astrology and sports. He was kind and soft spoken and always had a educated answer to any question. There was nothing he enjoyed more than a interesting conversation. 

Eric had a special gift that brought light into everyone’s eyes. He was committed to family, making sure that all knew the love he had for them. He was a father, son, brother, & friend that will be truly missed but not forgotten by many.
