From a five-star gentleman to an entrepreneur who was responsible for the day to day of the company he founded, “BinLavish”, Elwood Champ Hallett “Dannie Wilson,” was a creative soul who found joy in music. Born April 30, 1994, to Shaynequa Wilson and Champ Hallett, Dannie’s creativity flourished through the years. As a performer he opened for such artists as Ja Rule and Don Q. As a producer, lyricist and singer, his songs were a pure sultry blend of harmony, soul and rhythm. His selfless nature led him to mentor others who also wanted to pursue music. If you wanted to find Dannie, well you didn’t have to look far. He spent every minute of his spare time recording sessions. Being the creative he was, his vision expanded to photography and fashion. There was nothing that Dannie couldn’t do or wouldn’t try to do. The world was Dannie’s. He enjoyed traveling and exploring cultures in countries and cities, giving him some insight into how we wanted to live.
We all can agree that Dannie left us too soon. He departed this life on Friday, April 28, 2023, leaving behind his mother Shaynequa Wilson, father Champ Hallett and his wife Nancy Ledoux, sister Tatiana Wilson, brothers Elisha Wilson, Tyrelle Hallett, and Zion Hallett, Aunts Angelina Wilson, Stephanie Collins (Nate) his uncle Anthony Wilson , his significant other and partner in travel, Toni Chanel, and her son Ty-Meem Johnson Jr “His Steppie” and a host of cousins, family members and friends.
We love you Dannie and may you rest in peace knowing that we will cherish the moments we had with you and will call upon those memories to uplift us and make us smile as you have always done.
