Earlie Gilmore II departed this life on Thursday, September 24, 2019 - Albany Medical Center. ALBANY, NY. Earl was the first born of six siblings to the late Earlie Gilmore Sr. and Betty A. Gilmore. He was a resident of East Greenbush, New York.
Earl graduated from Columbia High School in 1986. His educational pursuits also included an Associate’s and Bachelor’s Degree In
Business Administration from Russell Sage College, Troy, NY.
Earl also participated in, and successfully completed, programs for Youth Development, including the Matilda Cuomo Mentoring Program and Junior Achievement.
Earl’s working career started with an humble beginning at Burger King, advancing to Dime Savings Bank, Niagara Mohawk, AMTRAK, GE, NYS Thruway, and Southwest Airlines. Earl was also the Founding Father and Director of CALL TO PRAY MINISTRIES INC. INT’L, and the Provost of THE INSTITUTE OF KINGDOM TRAINING (IOKT) USA/KENYA.
Earl has received countless awards and recognition for EXCELLENCE IN SERVICE (servant’s heart).He also served as a Court Advocate for many, in a Clergy capacity.
Earl particularly enjoyed giving monetary awards to the youth quarterly for their academic achievements, spending family time, (especially with the children) and going to the movies on days off. His special hobby was collecting trains. Earl was known for his smile, sense of humor and interest in politics. His love and kindness made him great!
Earl leaves to celebrate and honor him eternally: His Beloved Mother Betty A. Gilmore, four sisters, Melanie (Mose), Shantell, Jacobia(David), Bettina Ann, brother Justin, special sister-in law Moniqua, special brother David, godson Carlos, special godson Shavar, godson Anthony: three godchildren - Avah, Mei’Star, Chasity; godmother Barbara, godsister Sherry and an unending host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, sons and daughters, friends and loved ones in the Lord. Rest in heaven Earl, we shall meet again!
