Dina Ranellucci Obituary

Dina Danielle Ranellucci was a vibrant and effervescent soul who graced this earth for 54 years before departing on March 26, 2023. She was an extraordinary individual who was multi-talented in a variety of ways and lived life outside of the box. Her many attributes- naturalist, fun, loving, caring, sophisticated- were gifts to anyone who knew her. The magic our amazing Dina possessed left a lasting impression on the people she encountered throughout her life.

Dina was born and raised in New Lebanon, NY on January 16th,1969 to the late Vincent and Beverly Serriano. To this union, they bore three beautiful daughters: Dina, Erinn, and Nora. For the past 24 years, Dina and her family resided in Petersburg, NY. She was educated at Darrow Preparatory Boarding School in the Berkshires of New Lebanon, NY and Pratt University in Brooklyn NY.

After completing her education, she met and married her husband of 34 years Tracy Ranellucci, who she affectionately referred to as King Tracy. To their union were born Gabriella Christine and Tessa Mary.

Dina’s life was further enriched with her beloved grandchildren, Mia Macmillen and Gaetano Ranellucci Dunham, who affectionately referred to her as “Cuckoo”. Additionally, she was looking forward to meeting her unborn, twin grandchildren.

Dina went on to be an educator at the Albany Community Charter School where she exhibited her artistic talents. She began a career in Hospitality and Banquet hosting at the Albany Hilton Hotel while also operating a successful cleaning business for 28 years.

Dina’s deepest love was for her family (living and deceased): her loving siblings Erinn Serriano Harkless (Floyd), Nora Serriano, the late Vincent Anthony Serriano, Luccas Serriano, Seth Polen (Nina), Vincent Ingoldsby Sr., and Lisa Malek as well as a host of uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends including Mary Cavatalo (mother-in- law), Elizabeth Whealen (mother-in-law), Raymond Francis Ranellucci (father-in-law), Bonnie Buck Ingoldsby (sister-in-law), Anthony Ingoldsby (brother-in-law), Timmy Crawford (brother-in-law) (Michelle), Raymond Michael Ranellucci (brother-in-law), Frankie Ingoldsby (brother-in-law), and special friends Bill and Linda Chalmers, Al Frazzini (brother-in-love), and Marlene Frazzini (mother-in-love).

Dina loved her community, and of course her animals. Dina was a phenomenal woman who was rarely seen without her pearls!
