Brian Q. Jenkins Jr. suddenly departed on March 9, 2021. Brian was born June 27, 1992 to Martha Bellamy and Brian Jenkins in Albany, NY. Brian was raised in Albany, NY, even though he spent some of his childhood in Bronx, NY where he was baptized, Florida, and South Carolina where he played youth football. Brian received his GED from Job Corp in Glenmont, NY.
Brian spent most of his time with his family. Brian was an amazing father, son, brother, and uncle. His kids were his everything. Brian made sure that he called each and every one of us to tell us about the birth of his newborn son. He didn’t care that it was 6 am either. He was well known for his sense of humor. Brian was the best protector when it came to his family, friends, and his beloved animals. He was a handyman who would fix everything. Let us not forget that he was a ladies man. He enjoyed rhyming even though he could not. Brian was a go-getter who enjoyed life and lived it to the fullest with no regrets. Brian took very good care of himself and his style was immaculate.
Brian was predeceased by his grandfather Roscoe Bellamy, aunts Annette Bellamy and Georgette Bellamy-Batts, and cousin Delvonte Byrd.
Brian is survived by his mother Martha (Lance) Bellamy, father Brian Jenkins, siblings Koshawa (Brendan) Armstrong, Zulema, Jamel (Degama) Bellamy, Shiyunda Cancer, Ashley Guscott, Jameir Drake, Ovisha Springs, Myheaven Johnson, Brandale and Kayln Jenkins and his sons Brian Jr, Bryson, and Brayden Jenkins as well as a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and friends.
