Brad Louis Coles passed away suddenly on January 4, 2026, and entered into the loving arms of the Lord. 

Born on October 27, 1979, Brad was the son of Cathy Edmondson and the late Joe Coles. He was educated in the Albany Public Schools. Brad treasured time spent with his family, especially his beloved daughters, Bradesha and Brianna Coles, who were the light of his life. He also enjoyed gathering with his extended family and, from time to time, a visit to the casino. 

At the time of his passing, Brad was employed at Mercy House, a job he loved and took great pride in. 

In addition to his daughters and mother, Brad is survived by his stepfather, William Edmondson; his sisters, Donya Coles, Arica Coles, Ashley Coles, and Clarissa Edmondson; and his brothers, William Edmondson Jr. (Woody) and Jody Holloway; three nephews, Shaliem, Joseph and Liam, and one niece, Amora; and the mother of his daughters, Tameka Canty. 

He was predeceased by his maternal grandparents, Beatrice Smith and Tommy Cobb, and his paternal grandparents, Inez and James Coles. 

Brad also leaves to cherish his memory a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and dear friends. 

Brad was deeply loved by all who knew him, and his memory will forever remain in the hearts of those he touched.
