Bonnie Sue Sturdivant of Schenectady, New York, passed away on Tuesday, May 4, 2021. Bonnie was born in Tupelo, Mississippi. She is survived by her daughters: Tandra R. LaGrone of Albany, New York, Gwendolyn Simmons of Albany, New York, Kimberly A. LaGrone-DeMarco of Rotterdam, New York, Danyale Sturdivant of Durham, North Carolina, her one son, Tony ( William) Sturdivant of Amsterdam, New York, two sons-in-law Michael J. DeMarco and Donald Sims and two daughters-in-law, Nancy Muniz -Sturdivant and Roxanne Ramlall. Bonnie is also survived by her mother Vella Nelson of Albany, New York, her sister Betty Lou Johnson of Albany, New York, eleven grandchildren and her beloved pet dog Chia. She was predeceased by her father William LaGrone and her brother Willie Roger Wallace. Funeral service will be, Friday, May 14, 2021 at 11:00am at S.L. McLaughlin Funeral Home, 1226 Broadway, Albany, NY 12204. Memorial contributions may be made to the ASPCA in memory of Bonnie Sue Sturdivant.
