“And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes, and there
shall be no more death neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall
there be any pain: for the former things are passed away”.
Revelations 21:4
Today we celebrate the life of Asia Danielle Means who God
called from labor to reward on, Monday, April 25, 2022, and
released her from this world of sorrows and pains to a place of
eternal rest.
On December 23, 1972, in Sacramento, CA a beautiful bundle of
joy was born to the late John (Butch) Means and Leslie Sabrina
Claiborne Means: She was raised and loved by her parents John
and Maxine Jones in Mount Vernon New York
At a very early age, she was baptized and joined Macedonia
Baptist Church in Mount Vernon and was very active in the Usher
Ministry and the Young People’s and Rinco Nelson Choir until she
relocated.
Asia graduated From Saint Barnabas, Bronx, NY and went to
Morgan State University Baltimore, MD. She was a fun-loving,
vibrant personality with a beautiful signature smile and laughter
that was infectious and will surely be missed by all that knew her.

She leaves to cherish her memories a loving son Rayshawn J.T
Chisholm, Hackensack, NJ. Her devoted caring parents, John and
Maxine Jones, Alton VA. Three brothers: Dr. Darran Brandon
(Beverly) Midlothian, VA., Dr. Gerald Brandon Chesterfield, VA,
and Tevis M. Brandon Alton, VA. Four nieces and one nephew.
Four uncles: Mr. Andrew Oliver, Lexington, NC, Mr. Lawrence
Oliver (Jeanette), Mr. Stanley Oliver, Mr. Allen Oliver, and one
Aunt Arlene Oliver all of Albany NY. One great uncle George
Brandon (Helen) Albany NY. Stepfather Mr. Samuel Jones Albany
NY. Her Godson, Pierre Thompson, Schenectady, NY and a host
of cousins, and many, many friends

We are all saddened by this temporary separation, but we know
that because Asia knew and loved the Lord, she rests from her
labor and lives eternally in the celestial realm of God.
