Angel Rafael Rivera

Angel R Rivera Sr. was born on January 4, 1962 in Bayamon Puerto Rico to his loving parents Angel Luis Rivera and Andrea Guzman. He was raised in Ponce until the age of 13 when he came to the United States with his mother and siblings to New York City. After eventually finding his way in the big city he met his first love interest Maritza Bermudez which produced his first great pride and joy his daughter Jessica Rivera. His journey through life and his studies then eventually led him to upstate Albany, NY where he met and settled down with the love of his life Wanda Sprigs. Together they lovingly raised their two sons Angel Jr. and Matthew until his passing. 

Angel Sr. Or Nano as many of his friends and family knew him by was a great friend and father who always brought laughter and love to those around him on any occasion. He led his family with love, compassion, and kindness at all times.  He truly was one of a kind as man and father and he will forever be loved.

He will always be remembered and his legacy will be carried on by his remaining three children daughter Jessica Sons Angel Jr. & Matthew, Granddaughters Mariah, Dalylah, & Malayah. Mother Andrea, Love Wanda and countless family and friends who had the joy and pleasure to get to know him throughout his life.
