Mary Magdalene Jackson

Mary M. Jackson (Fallen), 91, of Albany, NY passed away on April 29, 2019 at Albany Medical Center Hospital, after a turn for the worse at Hudson Park Nursing Home.

She was born, along with her fraternal twin sister, on April 6, 1928, in Halifax, VA to Mary Fallen (Williams) and Rufus Fallen.

She is survived by her son, Reuben Tanner Sr. (Albany, NY), and a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her twin sister, Martha Chappell (Fallen)(Washington, DC), her younger sister, Nannie B. Wood (Fallen)(Hartford, CT), and a host of other family and friends.

Mary is predeceased by her husband, Edward Jackson (Albany, NY), her son, Arthur Fallen (Hartford, CT), her older sisters, Evangeline Hartridge (Fallen)(Washington, DC) and Sallie Edmonds (Fallen)(Washington, DC). She is also predeceased by her brother, James Fallen Sr. (Albany, NY).

Visitation,will be held Sunday May 5,2019 2:00 PM-3:00 PM, followed by services, will commence, at 3:00 p.m. at S.L. McLaughlin Funeral Home, located at 1226 Broadway, Albany, NY.  A repass will follow.
