Doris Robinson

     Doris Rebecca Robinson was born on April 27, 1943 in Bethune, SC to the late Charles and O'Wilda Mayo.  Doris departed this life on October 18, 2018.  Doris was educated in the Kershaw County School District in South Carolina.  

     On October 16, 1958 Doris married Eddie Robinson, the love of her life, together they relocated to Albany, NY in 1959.  Doris began her nursing career in 1962, she worked at many medical facilities in the Capital District area.  Doris retired from the McAuley Residence in 2006.  Doris was a unique flower, she was an avid garage and estate sale connoisseur.  Doris liked the finer things in life and had a keen eye for beauty.  One could see this by simply looking at some of the fine china, vintage jewelry and beautiful linen she collected.  

     Doris was a very wise women; freely sharing pearls of wisdom with whomever was willing to listen, she also had the unique ability to make every person feel as though they were the most important person in the world.
